Propaganda. It's an American tradition. Every administration has engaged in some form of propaganda to build support for an agenda or effort. Fortunately for We the People, there are laws , guidelines, and restrictions, on how public money may or may not be used for propaganda. Propaganda in the minds of many carries a very negative connotation, just short of brainwashing. I'm convinced that you'd have to be brainwashed to believe anything this regime has to say about what it's doing with our money.
This report just released by the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, details the Obama Regime's propaganda, I mean 'transparency' efforts which are illegal, unconstitutional, or outright deceitful. Many violate Obama's campaign promises. Many violate the Hatch Act, which prohibits federal employees from supporting any political party. Many violate the Constitution's own mandates on the expenditure of federal funds.
In an earlier post I looked at the White House's effort at 'Transparency' called www.recovery.gov. The Government's own numbers about the Government Stimulus... and it is just a stimulus for the Government. Even using their own numbers it's plain to see that the stimulus isn't creating jobs, only a bloated bureaucracy. Now we can see that many of the jobs being reported as being saved or created are in truth, neither. Many of the numbers or misleading or fictitious; raises being counted as new jobs, reporting jobs being saved that were never in danger of being lost, or reporting new jobs where none exist. Obama's own numbers show the poor performance of the government stimulus plan but the truth is even worse. It's so bad they can't make it look good even by deceit.
Government websites promoting Obamacare, which urge visitors to donate to the DNC. Paid (and paid very well) consultants for HHS write editorials and provide source material to those who would promote Obamacare all the while hiding their status as paid federal employees. FHA and DOT officials pressure local and state authorities into the purchase of road signs, threatening to withhold stimulus funding unless signs promoting the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act are purchased. (by the way “ARRA” is also the sound a man makes when poked in the eye). Taxpayer money spent to drag the beloved Sheriff Taylor out or retirement to convince seniors that they'll like the health care changes if they just give them a chance. All violate Federal law, the U.S. Constitution, or Obama's own campaign promises.
What the President's 'transparency' really shows when it's examined is that our Government is only interested in increasing the size of Government itself. They haven't done a single thing which is of benefit to me or anyone in my household, yet I'm the one with his feet to the fire to pay for it. The effect of this governance on the people, and the legality of its methods simply aren't a priority to those pulling the strings and ruining our Country. We The People need to show those power hungry self serving bureaucrats in Washington that we aren't fooled by Obama's propaganda and that we can see through his 'Transparency'.
